For adults and children over 3 years:
Apply to the affected area 2-3 times daily. Irritation will be relieved for 6 to 10 hours. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Eurax can be used on children.
For children under 3 years of age consult your doctor before use and do not apply more than once a day
Eurax 10% Cream contains Crotamiton for the fast relief of itching & skin irritation caused by:
Itchy dermatitis, Dry eczema, Allergic rashes, Hives, Nettle rashes, Chickenpox, Insect bites & stings, Heat rashes Sunburn, Personal itching, Scabies
Treatment of scabies:
After bathing apply to all areas below the chin including in between the fingers and toes.
Repeat the treatment 24 hours later.
A bath should be taken a day after, with a change of clothes and bedding.
All contacts should be treated at the same time.
Warnings:
FIRE HAZARD! Do not smoke or go near naked flames risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc) that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard.
Do not use:
in or around the eyes, on broken skin
for weeping skin conditions
if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.
Eurax Cream is not recommended in pregnancy.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Eurax Cream if you are breastfeeding, or suffering from genital itching.
Eurax Cream should only be used under the direction of your doctor.
This product contains stearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis) and methyl hydroxybenzoate which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Contains:
Active ingredient: Crotamiton 10% w/w
Also contains: Methyl hydroxybenzoate E218, phenylethyl alcohol, glycerol, triethanolamine, sodium lauryl sulphate, ethylene glycol monostearate, stearyl alcohol, strong ammonia solution, stearic acid, hard paraffin, white beeswax, purified water and perfume.
