Magnesium Verla 5 mmol granules for oral solution. This medicine is used as a dietary supplement for individuals who are deficient in magnesium. This may be a result of an insufficient intake of the mineral in your diet or your body is not absorbing magnesium adequately.

Directions for use:

Adults and children over 10 years of age:

Take the contents of one sachet, one to three times each day.

Children aged 2-10 years:

Take the contents of one sachet each day.

The contents of one sachet of Magnesium Verla granules should be dissolved by stirring in at least half a glass of water, tea or fruit juice.

Warnings:

Do not take Magnesium Verla:??

if you are allergic to magnesium aspartate dihydrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed below)

if you are dehydrated.??

if you have severe kidney problems.

if you have a tendency to develop kidney stones during kidney infection??

if you suffer from a condition where your kidneys are failing to produce urine (anuria) or are producing an abnormally small amount of urine (oliguria).

if you have kidney problems

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Magnesium Verla contains sucrose and lactose

Each sachet contains 2.84 g of sucrose per dose. The sugar content requires caution for use in diabetics.

Each sachet contains 2.3 mg of lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Contains:

The active substance is magnesium aspartate dihydrate. - Each 5 g sachet of granules for oral solution contains magnesium aspartate dihydrate equivalent to 121.56 mg (5 mmol) of magnesium.

The other ingredients are sucrose, anhydrous citric acid, saccharin sodium, mandarin flavour (contains lactose) and colloidal anhydrous silica
